ENVIRONMENTAL NONPROFIT INITIATIVE WITH charity: water SPONSORING 7 WATER PROJECTS WORLDWIDE

For Emerald Rose Whipple access to clean water is not only a basic human need but must be a right to every human being. charity: water is a nonprofit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. 785 million people in the world live without clean water. The majority live in isolated rural areas and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their family. Not only does walking for water keep children out of school or take up time that parents could be using to earn money, but the water often carries diseases that can make everyone sick. Access to clean water means education, income and health - especially for women and kids.

As a corporate partner to charity: water, Whipple has dedicated 7 paintings from her Eden, Natural High and Transmission series to raise funds to sponsor 7 Water Projects. With the sales of these 7 artworks Whipple will donate $10,000 with the sale of each painting, totaling in a $70,000 donation to charity: water to fund water projects in rural communities allowing people access to clean water. charity: water tracks the each project so collectors can see both the progress and the impact of the project the enabled through collecting.
